Saturday – annual birthday tradition for one of my friends. We all meet up for breakfast, an arts and craft fair and then back to the house for soup and cake and hanging out.
Birthday babe (she's also typically the planner of the group ifykyk)
This year my kiddo was old enough to decide what he wanted to do and he found the bounce houses at the craft fair where we stayed until he played so hard he started cried bc he was got so tired.
Sunday- Loading up my boarders training mare back to her owner. Which took forever. BUT I was so stinking proud of murphy. He’s the buddy horse for the training mare so we used him to help load her up. And this horse used to take forever to load. He loaded up so easily and was so calm and hung out while we caught her. He’s a champ and I’m so proud of him.
I'm so proud of this boy!
Afterwards, I finally got to eat some breakfast and then out to the barn to go work clearing out a bay.
this had an old lawn tractor in here, old hay, tons of wood , etc in this bay I moved around and cleared out
Now I can clear off the SO’s trailer and we can fill up this empty bay with round bales for the winter! (which i officially finsihed last night !) Winter prep is officially in!
I am so excited for the round bales this season as this will make it way easier to make sure the horses never go a second without hay in front of their face!
As opposed to me having to just move around a million billion square bales before and after work like i did last winter
I unfortunately did not get to ride this weekend with the morning shenanigans taking up too much of my time.
Overall a great day though where I got to spend 98% of it outside which I love.
Happy Wednesday!
