This year is about underconsumption—making do with what we already have, maintaining what matters, and getting rid of the cheap, disposable stuff that adds clutter to our lives. I narrowed my goals down to the ones that will actually move the needle.

We hit 24 degrees F the last couple of days. Really early for us in KY to hit that cold this early. Which meant we were scrambling to get everything ready for the animals. Winter is another ballgame if you have livestock. Especially large animals. Horses wormed – check Cow shelter put out – check Fresh hay bales put out for everyone – check Blankets folded, organized and put on- check Hoses drained – fail.
