This year is about underconsumption—making do with what we already have, maintaining what matters, and getting rid of the cheap, disposable stuff that adds clutter to our lives. I narrowed my goals down to the ones that will actually move the needle.

First Freeze on the Farm: Prepping Horses, Cows & Pastures for a Kentucky Winter
We hit 24 degrees F the last couple of days. Really early for us in KY to hit that cold this early. Which meant we were scrambling to get everything ready for the animals. Winter is another ballgame if you have livestock. Especially large animals.
