Happy Wednesday

3 more weeks until my vacation and I keep repeating this to remind myself.

Last night I went to pick my kiddo up at my moms and one of my sisters and her kiddo were there so they were having a blast. My toddler cried when I made him leave so my mom guilt is feeling really good that he is going to be a-ok if I’m gone for 4 days.

August temperatures are here for real along with the horse flies.

I haven’t ridden in over a week and I could give excuses to myself but the real reason is my energy is soo focused on work and my side hustles right now there isn’t much motivation or energy left .

the thought of the effort to tack up , coordinate a time I can have the SO stop chores to watch kiddo is just too much for me to deal with. please horse mom and dads send me the tips for how to make this easier

However Winston has made chore time more fun now and working on training him some tricks is also invigorating.

he's also been groomed so no more mats!

Overall things are ho hum around here and I need this vacation to shake me out of my routine.

I have promised myself I will ride this weekend and we have a game night planned for Saturday!

Anyways, happy hump day everyone we have 2 days until the weekend!
