  1. Pyranha fly spray. Works great and my geldings skin likes it . He's had a rash before from other fly sprays. It's pricey but in my opinion worth it.

  2. medicated wound care cream. won't cause sunburns, antibacterial cream for wounds and it's also a fly repellent. I've found it sticks pretty good for 24 hours as the next day there will still be some cuts covered .

  3. hoof pick, good hair brush and some sort of grooming scissors . any brand is about the same to me. I like to utilize feeding time to freshen up tails/manes.

  4. cowboy magic detangler. This is 6/5 stars. I've gotten out many a ratted up mess of cockleburs using this stuff without having to cut anything.

  5. Haas brush. fight me but this is the absolute best brush. Gets rid of dirt from the bottom of the coat and brings out a shine

  6. zinc oxide cream. I use it to touch on any areas such as rain rot, scratches . It's a heavy cream so it sticks really nicely and it works VERY well.

  7. This thrush buster powder. I had this sitting on my shelf forever and didn't use it but I've been pleasantly surprised how quickly it dries up mild thrush. Bonus-- it's easy and clean to apply.

  8. SWAT fly spray cream. I like to use this on faces so the horses don't have to wear their fly masks every day. I'm not in love with it but it works reasonably well.

  9. Baby sunscreen any brand. I use this stuff on Murphy's nose as he has that pink skin that gets sunburnt. It's surprising how many baby items I use with horses (desitin, diapers, wipes)

Right now this is everything I carry every day with me to take care of the horses that covers 99% of the stuff.

I have a whole host of other ointments creams, etc as I am a super paranoid horse owner but for the most part these items are all i need on a daily , weekly and even monthly basis as far as horse keeping.

Happy Trails,
