An actual update (small)

After weeks of not having anything worth writing about I finally have a nice update. I took a vacation day Friday after making a relatively big career move decision on Thursday. Same type of work in a different building. It’s not more money right now but a path to more money  and enough in my wheelhouse that I feel comfortable. I'll do a post on this if there is any interest of I feel like it's interesting enough to talk about longer .

Friday I took off work. My toddler and I had the BEST day. He will be 4 in October and it is so fun getting to see him develop as a person. He is so much fun and adventurous.

We had breakfast, we did a few outside chores, then we packed up and headed to a Abe lincoln’s birthplace. It is SO cute and has a cool spring, a couple cute little trails and a cute building with a ton of stairs. We had the best time!

We then went and stopped by a cousins house for playtime. When we got home I was in a great mood and had energy so I did all the house chores and when it was cooler we went and did all the outside chores.

Saturday we had visitors and game night , some mowing and grocery shopping.

Sunday was the real highlight. A trail ride. I’ll make another post about this but it was definitely type 2 fun. And I am SO happy I went.

I am SO proud of winson . just a dog from the pound . he listened so good. and slept SO hard after this

Afterwards I dropped the horses off, grabbed my toddler and we brought fast food back to the house. I am still thinking about that taco bell meal. In hindsight that was about the most perfect day! My SO did all the cooking yesterday which was such a nice treat.
