Whew time is flying

I can’t believe it’s already Thursday. Last weekend the storms coming from the hurricane Helene made their way in so Friday and Saturday was purely rain and wind. On Saturday my family came over and we honestly did nothing except do a grocery pickup order and maybe some inside chores.
On Sunday I decided to continue on with neglecting my farm duties and took off to Green river to go trail riding.
It was my very first time trailering somewhere to *just trail ride?! I actually was kind of shocked by that. But I LOVED it!! Murphy Loved it! It was muddy since all the rain but nothing too bad! It’s about 35-40 minute easy drive from my house so I definitely want to go back!
Shelby got this picture from her training mare she has for the month. Murphy/me in front
Murphy is a great trail horse! He's a bulldozer dude with a great stride
in the distance you can see my truck and trailer , parking was gravel and wide open! Great for nervous haulers like myself
Our month long RV renters have moved on so I need to get that space all spiffed back up again even though they were wonderful and very clean!
This weekend is kiddos THIRD birthday! People say time flies even more after you have a kid and that is true because you never slow down . I am finally starting to get more sleep PTL!! Moms in hard seasons just know it’s a season and it will pass. (noted for myself too when I get in a season again that is harder again)
he's so sweet I love him so much
I still have on my list: moving hay around, taking down a bad looking pen and getting more hay delivered/picked up and riding Murphy!
Mowing season is definitely slowing down but I do think the SO will mow again this weekend.
Happy hump day Wednesday everyone.
