Fall Farm Life
Farrier appointment done for October. I handled all 4 horses alone with no help. Even better my kid decides to ride his jeep around and tells me it won’t spook the horses. LOL. But to be fair they were all really good.

Just putting the time in every day for about an hour feeding and caring for them really helps with the routine of them knowing I am going to work with you every day it’s not a big deal.

The bad news- it was not sore soles on Carolina causing her to be off. Farrier tested her hooves and didn’t find any sore spots. I am thinking I need to haul her up to Lexington to get a lameness evaluation which hurts my pocketbook .
I’ve had the best canter yet I believe last week on Murphy. I’m telling you watching riding videos and the mental work helps so much with riding!! (I’m also back at the gym before work a couple times a week and that’s helping as well. Sadly no pictures or video .
I also got a load of 23 bales of BIG hay bales. And I am delighted with it. This is the best round bales I’ve ever gotten. It has a small amount of alfalfa in it and tests at 16% protein. This hay guy has been doing hay for 40 years and was explaining more about hay.

65 dollars a bale and a $250 trip delivery fee for a total of almost $1800. This will last me a little over half of winter.
It’s Tuesday. Today at my day job has really beat me up. I’m hungry, beat down, bored and also my to do list is intimidating. Ugh.
I’m still looking for a daily driver as well since mine died and driving my large truck is pretty expensive.
The good time is it’s fall and it’s my favorite time of the year and guess who’s going to get a diet coke on the way home? This girl.
Talk to you guys later . peace
