Winter is here and darkness falls early. Turns out I’m still really not sleeping much more than the last couple years since I still can’t figure out bedtime. HOWEVER, I am having a lot of fun!! I just pray for God to bless my sleep and make it count more lol!
I got a scooter for my son’s birthday and lately we have been having chase parts where he pushes a chair and I ride the scooter around in circles.

Watching your baby turn into toddler and into a kid with a great sense of humor and personality is unmatched with reward. It's also crazy, I literally looked up the goals of kindergarten so I can go ahead and start teaching him more lessons gearing him up. It's crazy how much he already knows.

Christmas shopping is in full swing I have made a good start and just have a handful of presents left to get. I really try to be intentional and my family draws names so it’s not a ton of money or presents. The last thing for my kid is some sort of climbing gear to buy for our upstairs room since that is our play room. I want a dual purpose playground climbing for him that I can use to practice pull ups on. The room upstairs is oddly shaped , like slanted walls on both sides.
In other news, my friend/boarder bought her daughter a pony for Christmas that my kid is welcome to ride. So Win win! He needs some weight added to him but I am very excited!

I am hopeful my kid will want to ride the pony while I ride Murphy in my arena this year!! (LORD WILLING I GET ONE THIS YEAR- Pumped!!).
On the horse front, I’ve gotten good with the tractor bringing out all the hay already this year and I’m very pleased with the hay quality! I have really lost a lot of energy for riding with the hassle of suiting up and SO not entertaining our kid when I try to sneak out.

But this arena next year will be killer. I got a super good marketplace deal on a dump truck if my kid decides he wants to just ride that instead of a pony in the arena.
For the most part everything is status quo and I am grateful actually. Means everyone I love is healthy and safe.

Peace out. Get out there and live your life
